Act II was just a blur on my first playthrough, so this Act's write-up is even shorter than the previous one.
Rolan starts out being a mini-Lorroakan: not much of a wizard, but likes to pretend he is.
Protected Isobel by immediately casting Otiluke's Resilient Sphere on her, then fighting off the ghouls while she slowly and comically ploughs through them.
Dear gods, whole of Zevlor's militia dies including Ikaron and his mother.
Undead shadow-cursed Kar'niss and cultists in Reithwin Town square don't have brain parasites. Did the Shadow Curse kill their tadpoles, or were they not tadpoled?
Respectful of others' property, and a bit intimidated by the death-warded guards, I left the crates on Moonrise Towers' dock well alone.
In storming Moonrise Towers before my party arrives, many Fists and Harpers died too, which made me feel less bad about losing Fist Ulthred in the battle against Z'rell (who thinks I flirted with her, even if I didn't). Mig the ogre dies (she had a weapon I could have looted??). Fezzerk and the other goblins, who I released the first time I entered Moonrise Towers (and props to poor Drenn for handling a halberd like a pro) are no longer present. The cultist pilgrims also join in, and throw stones.
Once a companion, Halsin also gets "How am I holding up in your estimation" just like Shart. When she offers to make animal sounds to make him feel at home in the Shadow-cursed Land, he says she bleats well enough already.
Very many harvested corpses and body parts in the mind flayer colony. Children not spared either by Gortash (the Fresh Mind) or the Absolute (a cartful of children transported to Moonrise Towers by a tadpoled teacher, one wrote a letter starting with "Dear Absloot" - no wonder Chop wants to die).
After defeating Ketheric in mindflayer colony, Halsin is gone (found at Moonrise Towers, has to be invited back into party). Aylin gave spear to Shadowheart who was talking to her, but there is no spear. Bug? (Yes, and has been patched.) Also, some kids are absent (Doni, Silfy); did they die on the way to Moonrise? (Silfy turns up in BG.) After Ketheric's death, Reithwin seems darker than ever. (Halsin only says it clears up after I leave.) NB. Apparently the children have been saved by Rolan if he was persuaded to stay in the Emerald Grove, and would be dead otherwise. That explains their gratitude when they're acting as publicans at Last Light Inn.
Gith disks reveal that a devil (Raphael?) locked Orpheus in the artefact to begin with. And Raphael lies: precisely the Emperor makes it so no one has to grow tentacles. (Emps does want you to become his illithid companion, that much is true.)
After scene with Araj: instead of hugging Ast, I tell him what he needs is not a lover but a friend. He agrees. Did I just nuke my romance? If so, I know Halsin isn't fussy...
