Excerpt from "MANUAL.TXT":
Split!, together with its associated program UnSplit!, solves the problem of transferring large files between computers via floppy disks. If a single file is too large to fit on a single floppy disk, Split! will 'split' that file into several smaller 'component' files which fit onto floppy disks. The large file can later be re-formed from its 'component' files using the associated program UnSplit!. Both programs are prompt driven, so the user need not remember any command-line options/order of parameters, etc.
